The Technical Marketing Manager (TMM) will be based out of the XX Shanghai office and report to the Manager of Technical Marketing within the XX Physical IP Division. Travel is expected throughout China, Taiwan and to the United States. Your primary job will be to engage with customers and assist them in the physical evaluation and implementation of XX Physical IP products from synthesis to place and route for Logic products and analysis of compiler instances for Memory products. This position needs to be able to facilitate effective customer benchmarking. <br>
The Technical Marketing team is responsible for internal and external technical training. All TMMs assist in gathering, compiling and reporting competitive analyses and feedback on the usage of our products and take appropriate action to improve our products or processes. This person will create and review technical collateral and assist in support and promotion of XX physical IP products.

Education & Qualifications<br>
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience. <br>
<br>
Essential Skills & Experience<br>
&#8226; Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and fluent in English <br>
&#8226; Strong communication skills, oral and written, and the ability to present comfortably to customers in English and Chinese<br>
&#8226; Experience dealing with China semiconductor companies, ideally the senior technical and management levels, especially in demonstrating product differentiation <br>
&#8226; Experience with direct customer interaction<br>
&#8226; Strong background with SOC design and implementation challenges <br>
&#8226; Experience with design of integrated circuits especially performance, power, and area tradeoffs<br>
&#8226; Hands-on understanding of Synopsys & Cadence implementation flows (RTL to GDSII) including low power flows<br>
&#8226; General knowledge of semiconductor processing <br>
&#8226; Ability to work effectively alone as well as in a team<br>
&#8226; Willingness to take ownership of a problem and drive through conclusion<br>
&#8226; Programming or scripting experience: Verilog, Tcl, Perl, Skill<br>

Desirable Skills & Experience<br>
&#8226; Knowledge of XX based SoCs and CPU implementation tradeoffs<br>
&#8226; Understanding of full chip STA including multiple power domains<br>
&#8226; Architectural and/or design knowledge of standard cells, memory compilers and general purpose I/Os<br>
&#8226; Experience with DDR PHY and/or controller<br>
&#8226; Understanding DFT/BIST methodology
