职位描述
1.Research new features and technologies for analysis and implementation. Perform feasibility studies on new technology and product concepts.
2.Develop test scripts for regression of existing functionality, bug isolation and new functionality.
3.Interact with software and hardware engineers to test software changes and defect resolutions.
4.Design, document and execute test cases and plans at the module and subsystem level.
5.Perform installation, upgrade, unit, functional, system, integration, performance and regression testing.
6.Support and integrate hardware and software along with client software and verify system functionality.
7.Review and provide feedback on internal specifications and external documentation.
8.Design and develop test tools, simulators, and test harnesses.
9.Lead the customer qualification efforts. Work with customer to determine the test system architecture and expectations. Ensure resource and equipment availability and deliver customer expected documentation package securing product approval.
10.Provide technical assistance to other departments to enable accomplishment of product development objectives.
11.Perform other duties as required.
职位要求
1.BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. MS in Electrical or Computer Science preferred.
2.6-9 years in an engineering system test environment within broadband, Video on Demand, IP Networking or telephony products industry.
3.VM ware experience
4.QTP experience
5.Strong knowledge of data, video and Community Access Television (CATV) transport topologies.
6.Automated test development scripting. Advanced knowledge of telecommunications specifications and standards as they apply in a system application.
7.Advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking standards and protocols.
8.Ability to deal with complex situations, to analytically identify cause and affect relationships and assist in logically developing action plans. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
9.Able to document requirements, test plans, test designs and project status.
10.Manage time effectively, from day to day time to project schedules.
