Responsibilities:
Proper utilization of available sales tools to create demand for and satisfy the needs of the customer (e.g. quotes, samples, literature, technical support, etc.).
Create, evaluate, and help prioritize opportunities from customers, work with the marketing group and applications engineering as appropriate, to win design-in position in targeted electronics markets.
Meets with key decision-makers to demonstrate the organization’s commitment to its largest and most critical customers, develops new or emerging customer applications for growth.
Aids the AET Sales Directors of Asia Pacific by contributing to the planning and development of pricing, marketing and commercialization strategies. Participates in monthly Forecast Meetings, works to ensure forecast is 90% or greater accurate.
Manages the development and sales activities of Sales Reps & Distributors for AET Sales
Adhere to company safety regulations and advice customers on correct use of product (Product Responsibility).
Maintain a moderate technical understanding of AET’s products, including uses and applications based on current electronic trends.
Effectively prepares and communicates information for sales activities and transactions in a timely manner (populate databases, call reports, highlights, leads, quotes contracts, global agreements, etc…); in CRM (Customer Relationship Management, a sales order processing system) when appropriate.
Monitors and communicates competitor activity and market trends and participate in the appropriate AET strategies.

Qualifications:
Must have minimum of 5 years combined sales and sales management experience
Business or engineering discipline and electronics experience desired.
Extensive customer and representative/distributor management and negotiation skills required.
Excellent follow-up techniques and introduction of new ideas and products.
Working Conditions:
Extensive travel throughout defined territory.
Works in self-directed fashion from a home office.
Understanding and capability of working in a cross-cultural environment.
Ability to work in a “virtual” team, while driving the sales representative team
Frequent domestic & international travel required
